Occasionally an interpreter exaggerates their skills in a particular language and you do not discover that until after they have already been out on an assignment for that language. In order to maintain data integrity, Atrium does not allow a language to be removed from an interpreter once they have had an assignment in that language. Starting with version 8.10, you may now inactivate an interpreter if you do not want them to show as available for assignments in that language anymore.
If you open the interpreter's record in Databases/Interpreters, go to the language tab and select the language, you will see there is a check box labeled 'Inactive'. If you check this box, the interpreter will no longer appear in searches for jobs for this language. The interpreter will also no longer see jobs as available to them for this language in the portal or the mobile app.
