When you select the Search tab on Dashboard in Atrium 8, you can construct a search using the controls on the page. At the very top are two checkboxes:
If the Today box is checked, the date for jobs found based on the requirements you define below this will only include jobs with Today's date.
If you click the All Dates checkbox, then, as long as you have limited the number of jobs to be returned by the requirements you select, the results will contain jobs from all dates in the system.
If you then click the All Dates checkbox again, then both checkboxes will be unchecked and the two and from dates field is available for you to choose the start and end date in the same manner as in the past. You can either type the dates in or select them using the calendar controls by click the calendar icons.
You may ask, 'Why was it changed?' This was done because in Atrium 10 (which uses much of the same code base as Atrium 8) allows you to specify descriptive date ranges like 'This Week', 'This Year', 'This Month', etc. Clicking 'Today' is equivalent to using 'Today' as the descriptive date range.
